Vinyasa Yoga Flow

Vinyasa Yoga Flow transforms your body gradually, releases stress and emotional blockages. It gives you a feeling of bliss and peace that you can bring with you into your everyday life. Karin’s YOGAFLOW combines VINYASA yoga and Pilates inspired sequences creating an empowering flowing yoga practice that lengthens and strengthens muscles at the same time. The dynamic sequences link BREATH and movement, building internal heat that opens the physical body for transformation, and stillness in the mind. The classes are good for physically active beginners and intermediate level practitioners. The lessons end with guided relaxation and mantras.

HeartFlow Vinyasa Yoga

Karin’s heart-opening yoga sequences offer a creative and energizing flow that will help you release stress, breathe deeper and become more confident. HeartFlow will open up your back and your shoulders through a series of strengthening and flexibility exercises. Gentle sequences involve vinyasas that are lower to the ground and thus are more calming, while dynamic flows will make you sweat with pleasure.

EarthFlow Vinyasa Yoga

Our EarthFlow yoga sequences are all about grounding and reconnecting energetically to Mother Earth. On a physical level, we will work on engaging the pelvis, strengthening the hips and our core muscles, and opening the hips and the inner tights for better splits. Gentle sequences focus more on lengthening and opening the hips, while dynamic earthflow will challenge your goddess strength.

Meditation
meditation

Evenings start with movement and gentle yoga poses to release tension from the back, arms, neck. We practice several breathing exercises (pranayama) before we start to meditate. Beginners especially could find it difficult to maintain a meditative state, this is because everyone is different. For this reason, we use different techniques each time to help you find the best that suits you. The core of the program is guided meditation (chakra meditation, mindfulness, yoga Nidra), visualization, mantra meditation, healing affirmations. A short discussion is accompanied by a soul-warming tea n the company of like-minded people.

Often the reason people cannot meditate is that their bodies are stiff their breath is uneven and they don’t know how to occupy their minds. Karin’s meditation evenings offer an integrative practice that help enter a state of meditation easier.

Prenatal Yoga

Prepare your body and mind for labor and delivery on our prenatal yoga sessions. Childbirth requires a great deal of strength, stamina, and focus; yoga helps you with all. Karin Heller, a Certified Yoga Instructor; and mother of two children has experienced the benefits of prenatal classes and guided meditation. She has been teaching prenatal yoga since 2012 in Malta helping mothers-to-be to have a healthier & happier pregnancy by teaching them breath coordinated yoga sequences, empowering affirmations & guided birth meditation. The focus of these lessons is to empower & relax mothers-to-be through yoga. Prenatal Pilates: Karin also implements some lower-back Pilates-inspired  exercises in her prenatal lessons.

Pilates

Karin’s Pilates classes will help you shape up in a safe and fun way to get those flatter abs, toned legs, and a strong back. Build flexibility and long, lean muscles. Join us to look taller, younger, leaner, and happier! All beginners are welcome to join. Pilates emphasizes your body’s core (the abdomen, obliques, lower back, thighs). For this reason, Pilates develops much of what exercisers need — strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination, balance, and good posture — with a much lower chance of injury than with other forms of exercise. In comparison to yoga Pilates focuses more on core strength and there’s far more of an anatomical, alignment-based approach to Pilates when compared with a  yoga class.
